The Festival is held in Historic Downtown Weatherford, and will feature over 200 arts, crafts, food and activity booths. If you’re feeling competitive, participate in the Peach Festival Food Competition. All entries must incorporate peaches in some way. Do you have what it takes to win?

Dance to live music on three stages, with one dedicated to the kids. Your children will have a blast participating in activities designed just for them. Stay active over the weekend and join the Peach Pedal Bike Ride. The race includes 8-mile, 26-mile, 39-mile and 61-mile courses. Online registration is open until Friday, July 10 at noon, and starts at just $25. Proceeds will help provide scholarships and assistance to students through the Weatherford College Foundation.

Spend Valentine’s Day on the Dance Floor

April’s Festivities in Weatherford

clark gardens spring festivalSeveral nice events are scheduled for April in the community surrounding Weatherford KOA. On April 13 and 14, celebrate the arrival of the season of floral splendor during the Clark Gardens Spring Festival. Stroll through part of the 35 acres, feasting your eyes on the profusion of glorious blooms. Also, in keeping with the theme, the Art of Living Texas Style, visitors can sample Texas wine and cheese. Saturday’s itinerary features a classic car show and Sunday’s schedule includes a motorcycle show. Admission for adults is $10.

Another event coming up on April 13 is the Shaw-Kemp Open House. This occasion celebrates the bluebonnets, history and hospitality for which Parker County is known. The group Simple Gifts will perform western heritage, Gospel and Texas swing music. Admission is free and guests are asked to bring their own snacks and beverages.

On April 27, head over to the historic downtown area for the Weatherford Blooms Home and Garden Fest. This free event will include home and garden vendors, along with entertainment and an antique tractor display. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Peach Festival Fun
