Big League Weekend

Every year baseball fans look forward to spring training, when they can watch teams prepare for the upcoming season’s games. During Big League Weekend on March 17 to 19, you can watch the Texas Rangers face the Cleveland Indians at the Alamadome downtown. Tickets may be purchased on the website.

Wild Days

SeaWorld’s Wild Days is scheduled on the weekends between March 4 and 26, as well as the entire week of March 11 to 19. Celebrity wildlife experts will be on hand to introduce visitors to the wonders of the animal kingdom, and opportunities for close-up looks at the native wildlife of Texas will be presented. The gala will also include entertaining shows, children’s activities and a high-energy lumberjack competition. Aside from the events associated with Wild Days, you can enjoy the rides and other attractions at SeaWorld.

Mardi Gras Festival

Six Flags Fiesta Texas will host the Mardi Gras Festival on March 24 to April 30. It will involve a parade of street floats and marching bands, along with themed food like beignets. Visiting Six Flags is always fun, but the New Orleans-style party will make it extra special.

Restaurant Week Comes to San Antonio for a Good Cause

Fall Arts and Crafts Show

The Fall Arts and Crafts Show at the picturesque River Walk showcases unique handmade merchandise of local artisans and artists. On October 5 through 7, residents of San Antonio KOA can browse through a delightful array of jewelry, pottery and fine art, as well as apparel and garden décor. Another event coming up this fall on the River Walk is the Ford Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony. At the lighting ceremony, a switch will turn on 1,500,000 merrily twinkling lights that form a canopy over the River Walk, giving the area a festive glow.
