Kerrville makes a good home base when touring beautiful Texas Hill Country.
One day you could visit Stonehenge, an art project that replicates the mysterious stones of England. On another day, you could drive to Bandera, a town called the Texas Cowboy Capital of the World. A third day trip could take you to Fredericksburg, a charming town settled by German immigrants.
Entertainment at Cailloux Theater
While Kerrville is close to several interesting spots, you needn’t leave the city limits to find entertainment. The Cailloux Theater will be offering the following shows within the coming weeks:
- A tribute to Hank Williams, the renowned singer who greatly influenced country music, will be presented on February 11.
- February 23 is the date of a Symphony of the Hills concert called Invitation to the Dance. The program will include music by Strauss and an array of other composers.
- Popular singers Robert Earl Keen and Lee Ann Womack will give a concert on March 4.
Stay With Us
Aside from attending events at the Cailloux Theater, you’ll find other pleasant pursuits in town. These include visiting parks and museums, as well as golfing and shopping at specialty stores. A favorite pastime in spring is to drive along the winding country roads to admire the wildflowers blooming in the fields.
