When you visit San Angelo, you can expect great entertainment at Stephens Performing Arts Center, a local venue for concerts and plays.
The following events are on the calendar for the next couple of months:
- On January 28, the classic story of The Call of the Wild will enfold on stage. The tale of adventure and survival is heartbreaking and sometimes funny. Showtime is at 2 p.m.
- The local thespians will present the off-Broadway play Pump Boys and Dinettes on February 11. It combines country and bluegrass music with foot stomping fun. Theatergoers can choose from the 3 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. show.
- On March 26, the Quebe Sisters will perform. The three women are fiddling champions as well as singers who are pros in an array of genres. The concert starts at 3 p.m.
Get Fit: Healthy You Expo
The New Year’s resolutions people make in January often involve fitness. On January 21, a health expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sunset Mall. It will be a good opportunity to get some health screenings free of charge.
