Lake Conroe is known for being a great place to engage in water sports of all kinds. In addition, the community offers great entertainment on a regular basis. A classic holiday play will be showing this weekend, and a talent competition will be held in January.
Miracle on 34th Street
We all treasure warm-hearted Christmas movies and stories that have been a part of the American holiday landscape for decades. One example is Miracle on 34th Street, a play that you can enjoy at the Crighton Theatre. The main character is Kris Kringle, an elderly man in a retirement home who gets a Santa job at Macy’s. Showtimes are at 8 p.m. on Friday and at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets range from $15 to $22.
Montgomery County’s Got Talent
On January 13 at the Crighton Theatre, people from the area will compete in a talent show. At 7:30 p.m., musicians, singers, dancers and poets will entertain an audience, and prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. Tickets may be purchased online starting December 19.
Stay With Us
Winter is coming soon, but you’ll be snug and warm in our cozy cabins. Perhaps a fishing trip is just what you need to relax. We have a catch-and-release pond onsite, and fishing areas in the lake are nearby as well.
