On December 1, the Symphony of the Hills will present Home for Christmas, a concert that blends the classic with the contemporary. It will be great to pause from the hustle and bustle of the season and listen to holiday music performed by an orchestra and chorus. The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Cailloux Theater.

Night in Bethlehem

Nothing depicts the real meaning of the season better than a live nativity scene. On December 2, Trinity Baptist Church will offer Light in Bethlehem with actors portraying shepherds, kings, an angel and more. A guide will walk visitors through the story of Christ’s birth. Hours are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

The comical and heartwarming classic, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, will be presented at the Playhouse 2000 VK Garage from December 2 to December 18. It’s the story of how some loud, disruptive kids participate in their church’s Christmas pageant, and surprisingly, it turns out wonderful. The tale is a holiday favorite.

ArtMart at the Point

You can shop for handmade items at the ArtMart on selected days between now and December 16 at the Hill Country Arts Foundation. It will be a good place to pick up a nice gift for someone on your list.
