The eatery is a good place for a leisurely meal because it has delicious food and affords views of the lake. It is closed on Monday and Tuesday but open for lunch and supper on Wednesday through Sunday.
Polk County Memorial Museum
Visitors to the park often go into Livingston to tour the Polk County Memorial Museum. The depository houses artifacts pertaining to the Civil War, Native Americans and early settlers of the area. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and admission is free.
