Whether your favorite acts are the breathtaking acrobatics, hair-raising stunts on the flying trapeze or the charming animal performances, you can see it all on September 7 at the 1st Federal Credit Union Spur Arena. This family-friendly entertainment will delight you as you see what feats can be accomplished with much training. The show starts at 5 p.m.

Family Day Fiesta

Our fair city lies in the heart of the area of Texas populated by people of Mexican heritage. Join the locals as they celebrate this wonderful ethnicity at Family Day Fiesta, which will be held at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts on September 12. You’ll be able to listen to a mariachi band and watch a traditional ballet folklorica, as well as create art projects of piñatas and castanets. Perhaps best of all, you’ll have the opportunity to make and eat homemade tortillas. The festivity is in honor of Mexico’s independence. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
