car.pngThe next Abilene Art Walk is taking place Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Center for Contemporary Arts, and this month’s theme is Car Walk! Come out to browse through a variety of makes and models of classic cars. You’ll find the vehicles displayed on Cypress Street — everything from vintage to muscle, hot rod and polished designs. Speak directly with car owners and vote for your favorite by making a donation. All donations will benefit The Center for Contemporary Art’s programs, which offer education and enrichment to the community.

Celebrate local artistic talent every month at Art Walk, which is never the same event twice. Learn about artists’ work through exhibits and tours. Join the discussion and find inspiration to finish your next work of art! Entertainment varies at every event and features, dance, theater or a live concert. From relaxing jazz to two-stepping country, there’s something for everyone. If you work up an appetite, head over to one of the scrumptious local restaurants in Downtown Abilene, who will also be participating in the event. Admission to Art Walk is free.

Then kick up your boots at Abilene KOA, where you can find peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life!
