Celebrate July 4th at San Angelo KOA!

Looking to have a blast this fourth of July? Come out to San Angelo for camping, fireworks, and a concert for a family-friendly summer getaway.

On July 3rd there will be a Pops concert at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial River Stage located on the banks of the Concho River at 16 E. Avenue A. The community band will begin at 7 p.m. and the San Angelo Symphony will follow at 8:30 p.m.

July Pops_1The event is free and is held annually, continuing to unite the community in a patriotic celebration. This is the fourth largest concert in the state of Texas.

On July 4th there will be fireworks at Lake Nasworthy at 9:30 p.m. This is one of the largest displays in Texas and can be seen from the shore or on the water. Bring your family out to sit under the stars and see a patriotic tribute that will make you proud to be an American.

On July 5th, we will be serving hot dogs and BBQ sandwiches at San Angelo KOA, with all donations going to KOA Care Camps to send children with cancer to summer camp. For more information on Care Camps, visit our Care Camps website.
