New owners Darryl and Elizabeth Kitay welcome everyone to their award-winning Bastrop/SE Austin/Colorado River KOA!
This beautiful campground on the banks of the Colorado River a half-hour’s drive southeast of Austin features 69 full-hookup RV sites with 30- and 50-amp connections, four custom-built park model cabins and tent camping along the river bank for groups up to 50.
We offer free Wi-Fi to our guests along with free digital TV service. All roads in the park are paved. Our paved, level RV sites include a patio, picnic table and BBQ grill for your convenience. Our Texas-sized clean bathhouse is rated as THE BEST IN THE STATE. We have a camping kitchen for use upon request and a large patio adjacent to the swimming pool.
You can spend the day in the fresh Texas air, fishing to your heart’s content on the banks of the Colorado River, or enjoy our river walk and park. Then at day’s end you can enjoy the cool water of the swimming pool (open mid-April until Nov. 1). The newest addition to our KOA is a splash park. It’s great fun for the kids, but we’re already getting requests for adult night from our regular guests.
Now through Feb. 28, you can take advantage of a hot deal on our cabins. Book two nights and enjoy the third night on us. They sleep up to six with a King or Queen bed, bunk beds, and a queen sofa sleeper. It’s great fun for the family and friends. You’ll enjoy the knotty pine lodges with granite counters, flat screen TV in the bedroom and living room, fridge, microwave, ceiling fans and a coffee maker. They’re perfect for all seasons as air conditioning or heat will keep you comfortable no matter the season.
Our campground is easy to find, and convenient to Bastrop State Park, historic downtown Bastrop and the city of Austin and all it has to offer. If you’re coming to the area for UT football, Austin City Limits or South by Southwest, we’re the place you want to be.
The Circuit of the America’s state-of-the-art racetrack is hosting five major events this year, three of which are world championship events. We’ve started receiving calls and email about reservations. You can now book online or call the office and we’ll answer your questions and take your reservation over the phone.
