Texarkana KOA was recently honored to have the performer Bobby Freeman stay as our guest. He is certainly one of the most unusual visitors we have ever had because he owns a Cadillac convertible that has a baby grand piano inside! A big hit with the other campers while he was here, Freeman entertained them with stories, impromptu piano riffs and portions of his traveling show.
Our campground is in an ideal spot to meet the extended-stay needs of different segments of the camping populace at different times of the year. It’s far enough down south to give snowbirds an escape from winter’s chill. Winter Texans and winter Floridians may want to consider staying with us until November before heading further south for the coldest part of the year.
Yet our park is far enough north to be outside of the summer hurricane prone region that includes the entire gulf coast and southeastern states. This would make a perfect refuge for the thousands of gulf coast residents who are forced to flee their homes to be safe from a monster tropical storm. We are less expensive than a hotel and you can stay up to date on storm news through cable TV and WiFi.
Likewise, our park is a good lodging solution for people like contractors, who need to stay in one location for several months at a time. We have sites that are specifically created for all these needs. Visit our website and reserve your spot today.
