Everyone loves a play based on an award-winning Broadway show with a captivating story line. On January 26 residents of Lubbock KOA can have the pleasure of attending the theatrical production of West Side Story, undoubtedly one of the finest Broadway musicals of all time.
A poignant love story, the plot is set against an unlikely background of rival gangs in New York City in the 1950s. The thing that makes the play so memorable is the musical score by Leonard Bernstein that produced some of the most exquisitely beautiful songs ever heard on a Broadway stage. These include “Somewhere,” “Tonight” and “I Feel Pretty.”
Another event on the horizon is the Arts and Crafts Fair on January 19 at Science Spectrum. Visitors can see an array of handiwork, such as handmade jewelry, rock carving and much more.
And don’t miss George Strait in concert on January 18 at United Spirit Arena. The Lubbock area has a nice variety of events and attractions that visitors will enjoy. Visit our website and make your reservations today.
