Christmas cheer is in the air, as the community has several holiday events coming up that campers at Burkburnett / Wichita Falls KOA will enjoy. Throughout the month, the Museum of North Texas History will present “Texas Christmas Past,” an exhibit that will take visitors down memory lane.
River Bend Nature Center will be aglow with more than 60,000 lights on silhouettes of galloping reindeer, pecking woodpeckers and other critters. After seeing the display, stop at the Candy Cane Café for hot chocolate and smores.
Beginning December 7 and continuing all month, MSU – Burns will be the scene of Fantasy of Lights, a collection of 34 lighted animated displays. The beautiful attraction draws thousands of visitors every year.
Miracle on 34th Street is a much loved holiday classic that will be live on stage from December 7 to December 22. Another wonderful event is an evening of Christmas music on December 8 by the Wichita Falls Symphony and local choirs. Also, don’t miss the Christmas Tour of Homes on December 11.
